Having solid experience in the building materials market, UAB “Vilmesta” has set new goals: to become a professional and profitable development company. In 1999 the Company was granted a construction activity certificate and started building houses. Soon its activities gathered pace: during 2000-2004 some 650 apartments were built and sold in various districts of Vilnius City. Needs of future residents are analysed and assessed already in the process of designing, thus houses constructed by the Company are distinguished by well-provided site, nice and modern exterior, comfortable interior design.

          Having assessed the increasing need for commercial premises in the Lithuanian real estate market, during 2003 and 2004 the Company designed and erected buildings which occupy around 5,200 sq. m. and are fit for trade and other commercial activities. All premises are provided with ventilation and conditioning systems, high category communication networks, and parking lots next to buildings.

          As UAB “Vilmesta” has been expanding, there were established companies developing its activities, namely UAB “Vilmestos projektai” and UAB “Vilmestos statyba”. “Vilmestos projektai” is a real estate projects development group which organizes project management. “Vilmestos statyba” executes construction operations. Companies of “Vimesta” group have been among most rapidly developing companies in 2006. After the increase in turnout from LTL 6.9 million during the first nine months of 2005 up to LTL 40.9 million during the same period in 2006, UAB “Vilmestos projektai” became the most rapidly growing company of 2006.  The second place was given to a member of the same companies group, namely  UAB “Vilmestos statyba”. Its return for works conducted have increased nearly four times and reached LTL 38.1 million. In recent years “Vilmesta” companies group has designed and constructed buildings that occupy almost 14 thousand sq.m. and are fit for trade and other commercial activity. The Company has also built and given for operation some 400 apartments which comprise 25 thousand sq.m.  of useful area.

          UAB “Vilmesta” is a member of the Lithuanian Real Estate Development Association and Information Trade and Industry Association KAZBALT. On December 9, 2004 UAB “Vilmesta” entered the Lithuanian Real Estate Development Association, and after a couple of months activity of UAB “Vilmestos statyba” was attested according to the Quality Management Standard ISO 9001. The market competitiveness of UAB “Vilmesta” is based not on low prices but on good quality of the real estate structures offered, which guarantees success in business development.  UAB “Vilmesta” develops socially responsible economic activity and imposes on itself high requirements. Nowadays it is not enough to erect a building. It is necessary to create infrastructure, set in order the environment, contribute actively to formation of a better society.

          “Vilmesta“ companies group constructed structures in Baltupiai, Pasilaiciai, Snipiskes, Antakalnis, Zverynas, Justiniskes microdistricts. On September 24, 2006 there took place an inauguration of a new residential estate of UAB “Vilmesta” in Pilaite Microdistrict of Vilnius City, Isruties Street. It was the first time in Lithuania that a building organization presented to all residents of Vilnius and Lithuania such an exclusive event. Recognizing the importance of promoting culture, sports and science, UAB “Vilmesta” feels proud for having contributed to supporting events, funds and public establishments: Lithuanian Fund for Children, Project “Nedelsk” (“Don’t Delay”), Social and Economic Research Institute, Lithuania National Junior Football Team, International Balloon Regatta “Statoil Cup 2007- Aeronautics Centre’s 10-Year Anniversary”, Culture Day of Lithuanian Poles in Vilnius, Pilaite Community Centre “Mazoji Lietuva” (“Small Lithuania”), XV Lithuanian Hot-Air Ballooning Championship 2007, Vilnius University Children’s Hospital, M.K.
